Tree Untrimming Party | 2 p.m. January 21
Once a year we get to celebrate the birth of Jesus by fellowshipping and providing the church with decor! Before we get the building decked out in Christmas gear, the day includes one of the many Christmas Program rehearsals and an optional DIY gift or ornament exchange will also happen within the day!

Enjoy an evening involving a Christmas music, a short message and more at Avoy Christian Church! Refreshments will be provided downstairs, afterwards.

Every year the community is invited to join Avoy Christian Church for an evening involving a Christmas Program and refreshments afterwards!
Prayer Meeting | 7 p.m. every Thursday
Members of the church assemble to pray over each other, current events and more. Please text 570.702.9643 if you plan to stop in. Sometimes the pastor’s schedule conflicts due to work, thus the meeting is canceled.
Harvest Dinner | 6 p.m. November 19
Around Thanksgiving we gather together for a potluck of delightful goods! A fellowship of community and church members makes for an eventful and delicious evening.

Enjoy an evening sipping cocoa, cider, coffee and tea while painting under the instruction of @katherine.joy.artt at Avoy Christian Church. Canvases, beverages and paint supplies will be provided by the church.

Adult Banquet | July 23
Members of the church and families will meet together at La Familia at Red Maples Golf Course in South Canaan at $25 per person. RSVP by July 16. Any questions or payment can be made by reaching out to us through the Find Us page.
Annual Church Picnic | August 13
This FREE Event includes water balloon fights, grilled food, summer snacks, frisbee, volleyball, basketball, board games and more! The picnic will be held at Missionary Retreat Fellowship. We recommend bringing a side to share, however, the church will provide the meat.
